I started the bike up for my inaugural, annual New Year's romp yesterday morning. It was about 40F out. The CT read 35. It turned over slow, and then when it caught, the engine instantly shot up to 3000RPM, and stayed there, for like three minutes. The temp readings were zeroed out. Never done it before.

I just shut it off and restarted, and all was normal.

I'm guessing it was a glitch due to the cold, and the FI defaulted to a "safe" setting and just held 3K? It shut down with no drama, restarted normally and ran perfectly all day.

Ever seen this before?
