Going to take the new-to-me 2008 to the N GA mountains tomorrow for a week of get-acquainted riding. Not too sure about the 190 rear tire that came on the bike (new Michelin, so I am too cheap to pull it). Any other forum members in the Telico Plains/Robbinsville/Blairsville/Helen area this week, look for a KTM990, green ZRX1200 and my black 1125R tooling about, stop and say hello.

Welcome to BadWeb.

After reading your profile, I'd choose a battery replacement!

Hope your ride is carefree.

Think you pegged it Two_Seasons. The 1125 had been sitting for weeks (months?) with very little attention. I placed the battery on an overnight charge and it is holding 12.7V at rest. The digi meter shows 13.9V while bike is running. Steady voltage, no fluctuations. Got my fingers crossed that a fresh battery will be all I need.
