I was wondering if EBR stamps an identification on his modified rotors. I have finally had a chance to start looking at my recently purchased bike. Tested Stator and it is in the proper output range. It has the HD mod charging sucks below 3000 rpm.

I looked to see what ECM the bike has and found one stamped For Race Use Only"Looks like the ones on EBR site". It may be possible there was other work done before it was in the hands of the seller as he stated that the bike was bone stock other than fender eliminator.

The only real way to know is to pull the stator cover off and look for the wire EDM hole in the center on the rotor.

Chances are pretty good that if the harness is still hooked up, it hasn't had the rotor mod done. Hope this helps.

Thanks so I would be able to see the oil orifice. I just want to know before I order anything.

For some reason I was thinking the hole is in the keyway on the spline bore? Some one can correct me if I'm wrong. I'll have a look tonight. I've got one on my bench right now.

The hole originates in the internal spline where it is counterbored to a larger diameter, it goes at an angle so that it then appears through on the inside of the rotor as a very tiny oil orifice so even with the rotor mounted if you have removed the stator cover the hole would be visible in the centre hub part of the rotor.

Yeh it is in the spline bore. It looks like its in the keyway or maybe they just milled off a spline to make clearance for the detail. There is a land and a hole about 3/32's drilled at an angle coming out of the opposite side of the spline bore. Its pretty small so it would be easy to miss. I took some pictures but I cant get the new version of Yahoo mail to work on my phone and thats about the only way I know how to get pictures on here. I hate that new Yahoo. See what happens when you put a woman in charge.
