So, I was thinking about running a dual exhaust under my 1125r. I was wanting to mount two Ducati cans together. Any thoughts or comments on sound and power??

Al at American Sport bike did a very good exhaust shoot out you can see it here:

D_adams builds custom exhausts..you can see his "duals" in this post ...scroll down:

Yea I really like the Adams Design. And thats what I am going for i just happen to have Termignoni dual exhaust sitting around and wanted to try it out. I'm just worried about running too lean since it is dual cans.

I would definitely make sure that the duals either go 2-1-2 or have some sort of cross over pipe to insure that the cylinders are well balanced with their exhaust pulses and make it easier to tune.

Im no expert but just some advice from things ive read on here.

Oh definitely would go 2-1-2...just need to find someone here in Tucson to make one for me and attach the brackets to mount the exhaust.

My only thought on this is...termi pipes bring stupid money. Sell em and use the dough to buy one of deans systems. Once you mod em, even if you don't like the result...you're stuck with em.

Use em....no one else has one. It would be cool. I had a dual outlet on the CR I traded off. It sounds much better then a single. Just use a HMF race ecm and you should be good to go.

Yea I intended on putting the cans next to each other to run parallel with the bike and put angle outlets on the ends to go around the sides of the tires.
