I've been looking for an EBR GP shift kit for a while now, but EBR doesn't have them in stock, and doesn't know when they will be.

I was just wondering if anyone here is familiar with the Precision Engineering model and could give me a comparison between it and the EBR model.

Thanks,
Phil

I have the PE shifter and it works for me.It has made it through three track days and six passes on a 1/8 mile drag strip and probably 5000 miles on the road.It looks like the part that goes on the trans shaft is a bit longer on the EBR model so it might be a little smoother to shift but I have been happy with mine.I would lock tite all of the bolts as I had one fall out and had to ride home in 5th.I don't think either one would stand up well in a low side so I keep my stock one in my parts bag when I go to the track.HTH.

You can use the chain drive GP shift kit just fine if that's in stock. You just have to flip one of the linkages around so there's clearance.

I switched to chain drive but still have the belt drive GP Shift kit so...

Buy the chain drive GP Shift kit from EBR (shows avail) and send me the rod with the heim joints on it and I'll send you the rod for the belt drive.

If interested send me a PM

I had (still have as a backup) the PE kit, it's nice, I also lost a bolt from it at the track, really screwed up my ASRA Team Challenge race.

I low sided on it, it held up great.

My hubby made GP shifting for our bikes out of pieces parts from other bikes for a very small cost and they work great.

Jumpinjewels, is there any way you might be able to get a list together for the parts needed? It still hurts to shell out $2-300. Hahahaha
