So, looks like the inside of the Deutsch connector got hot where my stator and VR connect. (The big 3 wire connector piece.) Where would I go to get a replacement piece?

I've already checked everything else. Just looks like the connector clip broke somehow and the connection got loose and it caused the resistance in the connector to go up.

Oh, also, where would I get a new rubber piece for the female connector on the ignition coil?

Mouser sells the connectors. What sucks is the connector will cost $2 and it will be 10 to ship it lol

Mouser used to have a customer service counter down the road from me which made it very convenient to puck up the odd part here and there. Unfortunately they closed that facility.

Slow down. It got hot for a reason. Sounds like your stator and/or Ducati regulator just took a crap. I bypassed that connector completely when I rebuilt my charging system with a MOSFET regulator/rotor upgrade/ rewound stator. Problem solved.

Cpd, it wasn't the stator or VR. The clip that is suppose to hold the connectors together broke and it slightly separated. This would raise the resistance of the connection which would make some nice heat. Enough to cook it a bit.
