Hey guys, I'm starting to do some longer rides lately which has been fun. My only complaint is my a$$!!. Wrists, back, legs, everything else is fine. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a more comfortable seat? And if anyone has a decently priced one for sale I would be very interested!

Welcome!

How tall are you?

Baldwin makes a very thick seat which may be perfect if you are 6'4".

American Sportbike sells the Saddlemen.

I've got the Saddleman CF that I got from American Sportbike. Worth every penny. The cutout in the middle takes the pressure off the tail bone and makes a world of difference on longer rides. You will not be disappointed.

I'm 6'4", 34" inseam. I have the (now discontinued) Buell Select seat on my CR, +1" and comfy. I also have stock Ulysses pegs, 1" lower.

I've done 800 mile days with no problems : )

Anybody make one for us shorter folk?

I'm tiptoeing at stop lights, which is ok, but not ideal.

The Corbin looks like the seat for you Jimustanguitar. At least it doesn't look too thick.

I went to my local motorcycle leather shop and got the name of a local guy who makes motorcycle seats. I took him an old seat I got off ebay and he remade it into a nice, thick, plush seat for under $200. I can ride all day with no seat discomfort.
