I'm getting the following errors: comm error U0001 & low fuel sys error 61005. Also, both back blinkers are not working.
And one more thing, there is a bosch 0 261 230 061
(which I believe is some kind of sensor) that is clipped to the airbox and the nipple on the sensor that looks like it should be hooked up to something, is not connected to anything.

The sensor that clips to the airbox is a barometric sensor (altitude) nothing is connected to it other than the electrical connection. The codes have been common for a few here. It's sometimes the result of the fuel pump not getting a good signal. Check your grounds and all connections.

Are your front turn signals working? Are they blinking at a faster rate? Check fuses but I believe all turn signals are controlled by one fuse. Check wires under rear seat going to signals

The front blinkers are blinking at a faster rate, no power to the back ones. I read another post that said the check engine and fuel light were coming on after getting out of the throttle (mine was doing the same). The response said to check the hoses that were hooked up to the air box, mine were fine. Really don't know what is going on.
