Stopped to run into pick up some papers, came out to find a guy backing over my 1125r. Hit it from the front, knocked it over onto the side, pushed it against the curb. Top fairing and lights scrapped, lowers damaged, clutch cover and puck scrapped and cracked, swingarm scratched, mirror/turn signal scraped. Crap.

Probably a couple thousand all together. He was in a company van so hopefully they will pay and not give me the run around.

Any idea if there are any new lowers out there anywhere? I think Al still has upper fairings and other bits. Probably get the clutch parts from (argh) harley unless any other ideas out there.

Larry

The lowers are long discontinued but there may be some new ones sitting on a shelf somewhere. The rest of the parts are still available from any Buell dealer.

Good luck, hopefully their insurance is corporative

Nah, just not paying attention.

I hope they come through too. Next week will tell when I give them the damage estimate.

Thank you all. I bought the clutch case, and have believe I have found a pair of unused lowers from someone on here as well. Will probably buy the top fairing from Al, and unless we find something major after taking it apart, will get it on the road pretty soon again and gather the smaller parts as we go.
