Thanks to Danny at EBR! I installed a dynojet linear push quickshifter(qs) part #4-104 to my 2009 1125R WITH race ecm. The sidestand switch is under the sprocket cover. You simply connect the black wire from relay to green wire of qs and tan wire from relay to blue wire of qs. The kit comes with a bracket and all necessary bolts and nylox nuts...thanks dyno jet!

That's it...plug and play. The toughest part was trying to find a place to mount it. I settled on the sprocket cover, and tested it at the track today...and it works flawlessly!!

"How did you wire it up?" The whole thread tells you how to do just that. What's the purpose of a thread if you're not going to read it?

I just put one on too. Problem with mine was I had to use the Precision Engineering Gp shift kit, all threads are standard 1/4 20 and the Quick shifter and aftermarket shift rods are 6m. Used a 1/4 20 tap to resize the threads and it is working great. 1125 is being converted to track duty hope to get it finished and over to Barber next month.

Going to do the same thing to my 1190rx. You mention a black wire from a relay. Am I understanding correctly that the quickshifter needs to me connected to the ground wire and the signal wire on the oem connector for the side stand switch? Where did you obtain wires/pins to use existing unused connector?

These are not very good shifters and I suspect you will be disappointed. They only allow upshift. There are available automatic quick shifters that are both up and down with handlebar button control, but are much more sophisticated with computer control and programmable downshift delays and possess a throttle blipper for smoothness, but they are also expensive around $2000 and do not directly fit the Buell requiring significant fabrication. They operate like an F1 paddle shifter. The difficulty on the Buell is available space. I milled a complex mounting block out of AL6061 for the shifter solenoid, which both pushes and pulls the shift lever. This tucked the solenoid in very tightly, but provided a poor linkage angle to the shift lever. I overcame this by fabricating a Watts linkage bracket and welded it to the bottom left side of the frame/tank. This was the easy part. The throttle blipper must also be mounted and the throttle body modified. This is not yet resolved.

Yeah, not looking to put that kind of money into something like that. Looking to put some fan skulls to work and use what ebr has built into the ecm. Going to try and tuck it in behind foot peg bracket.

Same kind of enjoyment in building a garage door opener that is wired to starter button. Allows me to start bike without opening/closing garage then after running, close/open garage without engaging starter again

What length shift rod do you need? I would like to do this and would liek to know.

so are you running standard shift with that quickshifter? except for the toe peg it looks like it. If so I'd love to be able to do that as well. I'm ordering the quickshifter today so if I need to order the gp shift kit I will as well.

How exactly did you connect those wires? I've searched all over on here and while everyone talks about the which wires nobody explains how they connected the wires. There's a couple different ways so obviously I want to do it right.
