When changing from an 09 to an 08 rotor/stator assembly do you have to take the sprag/reluctor assembly from the 09 and put it on the 08.Plan on doing this job this week,they look different to me

Well guess i answered my own question,looks like no change of parts needed,reluctors different because of size of rotor difference.Now i need a puller to get rotor off,its on there

You can fit the stator/rotor from 08 in your 09 cover no problem.

You cannot fit an 09 S/R in an 08 cover tho - won't fit - S/R are larger for 09+.
