Is it absolutely necessary to remove the stator wiring from the chassis to get the rotor cover off? My bike is charging fine and I am hoping my stator is still in good condition(though I will make a close inspection) and that all I have to do is install the EBR rotor and it would be nice not to have to pull the stator wires out of the harness. Is there enough free play in the wire to pull the cover off and swing the cover to the side to allow for the rotor sway out? thanks Mort
