So….I installed one of the HID headlights recently and took the CR out for a spin to check it out. A few days later when I fired up the bike I heard an odd sort of whistling sound. I started taking stuff apart and found that the breather hose was MIA. I must have knocked it loose while routing wires and such.
I went to a couple auto parts and hardware stores looking for parts that may work with no luck. Looks like a 90 degree elbow is required as any way I tried routing the hose would kink and kill the engine.

So I was thinking about just flopping down w/e HD wanted for the parts…or at least the elbow. Can anyone help with part numbers?

Thanks

Awesome, thanks a lot!

I'm pretty sure it's on the road somewhere. I shined a light around and didn't see anything.

And just to double check..this is the one that connects under the airbox correct?

on the right side. The one that is hard to pull up thru the round hole.

if you took off the rubber gasket and the base plate that goes around the throttle bodies it would be pretty obvious if its there.

Yeah, that's the one. It's MIA.

Looks like its only going to cost a few bucks. Hope there isn't a 6mo lead time on it!

If there's a long lead time on the part you could try your local aquatics center - they may have tubing and elbows of the right size ...

Local HD quoted $1.85 and 5-7 biz days...I can live with that.
