To perform the 12K+ service - my CR is at 11,500 and I'm wondering if I should get it done before the weather improves. |

generally speaking +/- 500mi is the window for most vehicular services. |

Depending on how you ride, that's not too early at all. Increasing the service interval is rarely a bad thing -- just don't let the next service go too long because you did this one early. I do my valves every season. That's about 40-50 hours. At an average of 80 mph, that's around 3,500 miles! They were way out of spec this year, too! |

No matter when you get that service done, make sure they do the service for a Buell 1125 and not a H-D Big Twin which does not involve checking/adjusting valves, like the (not mentioning their name) dealer in Riverside, CA. did to me.
