I have abut 5000 miles on this stator and replaced the VR with a Compufire. Now it charges until it warms up and then it quits. If I unhook the wiring harness upgrade it shows about 14.5 volts and every now and then it acts like I bumped the kill switch for an instance.Any ideas? Thanks.

Check the chassis ground above the swingarm. I just figured mine out two weeks ago. Ground seemed tight, but backing it off and cinching it back down did the trick.
