I have a recently purchased 2009 1125CR which had a 2010 warranty replacement engine installed and the charging harness recall all done by the prior owner. The bike was not used much(3,000 miles) and needed a new battery when I got it. The charging system seems ok at the moment showing from the low 13's to 14 volts on the dash while riding but I have only had it for a month and a few hundred miles. Do I need to do anything else to make the charging system reliable such as the EBR rotor or a different stator and/or disconnect the recall harness? thanks Mort

Yes, get the EBR rotor, your charging system may seem fine now but it can still easily fail without the replacement rotor.

+1 on EBR rotor. After you get the rotor in, ditch the POS recall harness.
