I also have a stock front wheel minus disc to go with it. A large part of Titanium is made with Magnesium. It is lighter than Forged Aluminum and is more expensive. For automotive applications, Titanium, Magnesium, and Carbon Fiber is not very well represented simply due to their cost. However, their weight advantages is well regarded in the Aerospace industry, as well as in the Racing arena. Is it worth it? If you want the lightest wheel, yes. True, but magnesium is also more fragile, making it a poor choice for any bike that encounters potholes.
