I'm just about to start work on my 2012 WR450 Super Single. I have a spare 1125 front end with magnesium wheel, lighter 5MM rotor and plenty of race pads. I'm thinking the bike will weigh 260-270.

Will the Nissin 14mm Front Master Cylinder that American Sport Bike sells be enough? Or would the Accossato Radial Front Brake Master Cylinder Kit from EBR be a better choice? Or do you have a better suggestion?

personally..i think anything would be adequate for stopping a bike that light...that is A LOT of brake for a bike that weighs about 200lbs. less than an 1125...probably whichever you feel comfortable with...although im sure others will chime in I bet either would be just fine : ) Although I really wanna see what it looks like when its all put together!!!

I think you're right. On my 1125 with the same setup I could do stoppies. But I would like to hear what others have to say about those master cylinders in this situation.

I think it'll look good. Have you ever seen the one's that Geoff Maloney at GpTech puts out with TZ250 bodywork? There's a PDF from the USGPRU that Geoff put together on how to build one. It's pretty cool.

If you are using the ZTL2 caliper, I'd still go with something like an RCS19.

Though it will be a whole hell of a lot of brake, if you go with a 14 you may find you really have to pull the level a lot to get brake action.
