So, I bought a KEDA RT4 from Dean. Thing is AMAZING. Love it.

The only downside.... is that its too loud.

I was wondering if anyone had experience with silencer inserts, and if there is any off the shelf stuff that I could get.

I got a baffle from Dean, but he doesn't normally make those anymore since they are prone to fatigue and expulsion out the back side. :-) I will be installing it this weekend. But in the meantime I've been using ear plugs.

Check here-

Fits in the main pipe before the "muffler'. May need to do some minor mods to fully fit length-wise.
I forget the size I got for my Keda, but you'll figure it out. Takes the sharp edge off the noise, and by the wheelie-off-the-throttle test, you may lose a touch of power but you'll be fine.

Keep us informed with what Dean comes up with. I really want one of his pipes, but I dont want it to be any louder than my HMF I currently have.

Three. Just mellows it out a bit. Cops will still hear you for a mile or so if you wind it up. But then again we Buellers don't care 'bout no stinkin badges anyway!

Just slid in like it was made for it. I think I had to shorten some part a tiny bit to keep the can mounting point in the right spot. It's hanging in my shed, I'll check it out later to verify things. It's been a while and I'm old...

OK, it was the three-disc 2-1/4 diameter...

and I had to get a little bit trimmed from the end of the header because the last disc sticks out a bit. Then it fit as normal into the "muffler". I tried but did not use the end caps they provide. Then it's too restrictive.
If you decide afterwards to not use the baffles the header is still long enough to work fine, so don't freak about trimming the pipe a bit. At least with mine it's fine.
