Anyone know if the spiegler handlebar conversion for the XB12R will work on an 1125R,i'm not sure if it will clear the fairing but it looks like it might

I'm guessing not.If it replaces the top triple, it's not happening. The fork spacing is different. Something like 4mm wider on the 1125.

I say "YES", you will need "XB" lower triple clamp as the 1125 tubes are spaced 2.2 mm further apart. I am currently using the XB triples and Renthal Superbike bars. Everything clears (barley)

Well, there is always E-Bay for the upper and the lower. Then you can pick the bars you like

Won't placing the forks 4mm closer together screw up the front wheel and brake caliper spacing? Are the XBR forks are different as well?

the front wheels on all XB/1125 are the same, right?
4mm isnt much, but where does the extra space come from?
I dont have a XB, only 1125 (and tuber), just wondering what they do to compensate for the wider space on 1125 models

When I reassembled the front end with XB triples, everything went together smoothly. I figure at worst my front wheel is now 1.1mm off-set to the left of centre ..... If I adjust the position of my tool kit I should be able to correct the balance

Here is the reply

From what we have been told by some of our customers that have done this before…you would want to order the Z120BU04 handlebar riser kit for the 04-08 XB-12R model and substitute the SUPERBIKE LOW bar in place of the superbike bar that normally comes in the kit.
That being said, I do not have a kit specifically for the 1125R model, so I do not know if there was any custom fabrication involved when doing this
