Hello all

I am interested to buy the three bearing kit available from EBR, because i saw i have rusty bearings and no dust seals (thank you first owner)..
here the kit--> http://www.erikbuellracing.com/store/models/1125cr /three-bearing-rear-wheel-installation-kit.html

But i have a question; parts manual show only two bearings to install.. this kit fits on stock CR??

sorry for my spaghetti english

That kit is designed for the 2010 models, the 2003-09 wheels are of a different design and only have two bearings.

The bearing size for your wheel is 6006-2RS and it is a common part on many ATVs so if you don't feel like sourcing some from a HD/Buell dealer, you can get some at pretty much any place that sells multiple brands of ATVs and motorcycles.

Is it super expensive to get the 2010 rear wheel? 3rd bearing worth the cost, or just monitor/replace the 2 bearing 08/09 version?

Is there a ceramic option that is worth the expense?

Super? No, but it will sent you back a few Benjamins. The prices have gone up on them, it will set you back $375 for the wheel alone now, it does not including the bearings or axle (need the kit linked above from EBR or American Sport Bike), then installation of the said bearings, and the cost of getting the sprocket and rotor transfered over.

I did it on my XT a few months ago, I want to say it was in the ballpark of $550-600 when all said and done. It would of been cheaper if I didn't have the dealer swap the sprocket and rotor over, but I lacked the tools. I recommend paying the extra couple dollars to have Al install the bearings, he has practice on installing them correctly.
