Hey all. Great forum! I've been reading as much as I can, as I always do before purchasing a "new to me" toy. Tuesday, I'm picking up a low mileage 1125R, and am super excited. This will be the fastest bike I've ever owned, and I love the design, heritage, etc of this bike. I've had my eye on one ever since they came out at the Harley dealership. This one has the EBR ECM, HMF exhaust and K&N.

On to my question. I could not find the answer with the search button.I am going to get a set of Canyon Dancers for the transportation from Austin to Dallas, but need to know the width of the stock bars since there are a couple of sizes available for the Dancers. Thanks in advance, and I'm looking forward to being part of the conversations.

I have Throttlemiesters on mine but end of grip to end of grip in the center of the bars measures about 26.5 inches.

Take your time getting used to the power. It can be overwhelming to some. Have fun and be careful.

Two more days! Chomping at the bit, and I've owned at least 15 bikes. Not sure why this one has me so excited. It's just so unique, I suppose. I am a little concerned about the volume with it having the HMF pipe, and the stories of how loud it is. I had a loud Harley at one point, and welcomed the quietness of the bike after. (R1150GSA) Ah, well. This one will be my little hot-rod. And I will definitely get acquainted before ripping it up too much-always do. I rode a buddy's CR for a bit when switching on a ride. (Quite a difference than the K1200GT I was on!)Loved it.
