Has anyone done this? I really like the clubmans but it's a bit of a stretch for me. I don't the high bar option at all. Clip ons would be great but much more then I want to spend. Would the R top triple fit on the CR?

It wont work with the way the CR cluster is attached to the top clamp.

I went thru 3 or 4 different variations of bars before I settled on the converti-bars mounted under the existing CR clamp. Slid them up and back about an inch when I rode cross country last year = Fantastic. Slid them back down and out for a Jason Pridmore track day a few months later. Endless adjustments, but the factory clamp must remain in place unless you can find a new mounting solution for the cluster.

I'm not sure how the cluster mounts. I think its just one bolt with sort of an upward radius? I could probably tig a mount for the cluster as long as all the other centers are the same.

Two small bolts upward into the underside of the top clamp.

You could make a tab of some kind, drill it for the bolts, then weld it to the R clamp... Let us know if you work out!

hey... I have an R and could use some excitement in my life. I would consider a CR conversion. Does that also entail the front clip / fairing / cluster?

Probably not the cluster. I imagine the top triple, fairing stay, headlight assembly and fairing. Wanna swap?

Figor, PMs are easy on this site. If someone clicks on your handle in a post, a window pops up displaying info that you chose to be seen when you set up your profile. At the bottom of the screen is a link to send an email message to "you".

PMs sent to you show up in the email address that you used to login to your BadWeB account. If you are not getting PMs like you think you should, double check your profile to verify that the e-mail address you entered there is correct.
