Oh, i 'm the yellow helmet. That's my daily rider , lined up with an '07 ZX14. While the Buell is far from the quickest/fastest of the bunch , it holds it's own with being nearly 40 h.p. less than most of these liter+ bikes :-) (the highly modded Busa's don't count) lol | ||

sitting at 6" over , bone stock motor EBR shelf ecm , Barkers. 220# rider. It's also lowered and runniny a drag radial. WAY off pace with Mike1125R , LittleButQuick and Battyone - but - I ride this bike to and from the track :-) | ||

Got a kick out of the guy with his right foot hanging off for nearly the entire run! Busas were flying. You had much better reaction time than your opponents! | ||

lol thanks Jim , but my lights were horrible. It was just test and tune runs , basically non betting grudge matches. The fog was just insane that night- pretty sketchy launching out into space , full throttle into the abyss . Bikes weren't making much power in that "water-injection" air ,but it was really fun at the time . Other than the Harley and the V-Max , the SMALLEST bike there was a CBR1000. I believe there were four ZX14s ,1 turbo Busa and 1 'built' Busa . Pretty sure all the low 9 passes were on spray. Just goes to show that our little "low powered" Rotax twins CAN run with the 175+ hp Inline4s :-) if only I had a nickel for every time I have heard "Cycle Mag x says my gixxer/cbr/r-1/zx bike runs 9.xx seconds at 140-150x mph" lmao then they discover they AREN'T Rickey Gadsen :-) |
