So I did a repack of my barker exhaust yesterday. First repack 20K miles on it.

Well I had no packing in it go figure just had the screen (was in great shape)

My warning is this. Check the bolts that hold the exhaust cap and mid pipe.

I had 2 bolts mia on the mid pipe side. Not a big deal was able to pick them up at Ace Hardware.

Just like all bolts on the bike just remember to include those in your checklist.

Thanks for the warning..I'll check mine tonight. Last time someone had a warning it was for the kick stand stop bolts had fell out..yep mine were about to too!

I always add a dab of RTV to the bolts heads on my Barker as MIA insurance. I do not use loctite because I am afraid the heat will degrade it. The RTV is good to 400 or 500 degrees. I do the same on my oil filter and screen covers. Can't hurt.
