Could someone please post the settings for 190lb rider? I have everything set for drag racing and don't have a manual with me. I'm in the mountains trying to keep up with the group... With little luck. | ||

FRONT PRELOAD: 7 turns in from min COMP: 1 5/8 - 1 1/2 turns out from max REBOND: 1 1/2 turns out from max REAR PRELOAD: 4-5 COMP: 18-16 clicks out from max REBOUND: 1 turn out from max These are from the 09 manual and you are right on the edge of the settings so I gave you the 170-190 info and the 190-210 | ||

This is what I like for all my riding including the mountains. I weigh 170 lbs. Front: Preload - 4 turns from minimum Comp Damping - 3.25 (maxed out to minimum) Rebound Damping - 2 Rear: Preload - 2 from minimum Comp Damping - 22 turns Rebound - 3.5 Turn up the rear rebound damping one click at a time if you feel the rear end shímmy during hard cornering. I've found this gives me the best ride AND keeps the rear planted in the turns. The '08 has a much firmer suspension than '09's so those settings will be way too stiff for '08's. |
