So I have a barkers system and I haven't repacked it since I bought it. Would say end of 2009 or start of 2010 riding season.

My bike sounds different now just started yesterday. Haven't seen or felt a performance loss, just doesn't sound like it normally does.

Could I just need to repack the system?

Yeah probably, it doesn't take long but when you get the pillow do yourself a favor and get the screen as well it is super easy to do there is even a video on you tube on how to.
