Was doing some unrelated bike work yesterday and had the seat off.

Noticed the seat is making heavy contact on the harness where the speed sensor connector is. There was some wear on the insulator. That might answer some of the weird speedo issues that have shown up here.

Usually I have an old bicycle inner tube to take a piece of rubber from to make some protection, guess I've run out of that. I used several layers of duct tape. It's not as pretty.
