Picked it up about a week ago. The only thing I have done so far is a diy fender eliminator.

Glad to be back on a Buell I was almost killed on my XB12scg back in 07' and this in my first bike since.

Welcome back!

And...be careful. I have tubers, and XB, and a CR in the garage. The tubers/XB are comparable, performance-wise. The CR?

HOLY CRAP!

It is truly light-years ahead of the air cooled bikes, both in handling prowess and in power. 100 on the CR and it behaves like the 1200's do at about 60.

I nearly died (did, actually...a few times on the medivac flight according to the flight crew) four years ago in a wreck, so I know where you're coming from. Pay close attention to what you're doing, and to what the bike is doing. It is very POTENT.

Oh, and remember to have fun! : )

Looks identical to the one I just picked up, so I know you're having a blast on it! : )

Ride safe.

Red CR's are the fastest

For the R's, blacks are

I bought my CR in red, trying something different for once. After two years, couldn't take it anymore and bought black bodywork. Must have picked up 25 HP!!!

I've already got two other black bikes, couldn't take another one, so I went for the red.

My wife informed me that the brake light was not working except when I used the rear brake. The wire from the sending unit at the front brake lever was unplugged and at full lock to the right was pulling the wire out. It looks as though some suspension work has been done to the front forks. There is a sticker at the bottom of the forks that reads, "Traxxion Dynamics" I figured that when the forks were done the wire was not routed properly so I rerouted it and it seems all is well with the brake light. While I was investigating that I realized that the rear running light was not on but the bulb seemed fine. Luckily I still had the tail section from my XB and tried the assembly from it and that worked fine so i just swapped them out. I put the bar ends on today and drilled 10 1" holes in the air box top and front to give the throttle bodies a bit more cool air.
The LED front signals should be here the first if next week.

The CR has become my Daily driver over my MR2 Spyder : ) Having a blast on it!

unlike the XB's and tubers, drilling holes in the airbox actually does not help, it disables the ram-air effect of the airbox and can actually hurt the power...to each their own just thought id throw it out there..

CONGRATS ALL THE SAME!!!
