Any ideas why light would go on? (4+years? = time for a new one, buy a Li-Ion from Shorai) b) how tight are the Batt connections...they been known to loosen over time = no charging/no starting c) the '08s Inst Cluster (IC) is known to have a parasitic drain IF you don't shut off the bike with the kill switch...key switch only = dead battery; key switch + kill switch (in the off position) = saved battery. there are many more issues that may affect the battery's condition, again you may want to do a search and see what "fits" your condition....since you're so close to the "mother ship" take a putt over there and see what they may recommend...good luck (Message edited by nuts4mc on August 01, 2012)
