I installed one last and now i have no speedo. Is that, the usual or did i do something to the vvs?

Not usual. Check pins, vss itself and it's connector.

Totally out? Or itermitent(sp)?

I do and was telling you what to check and that no it's not usual. The vss iss still read and used and I've never seen it intentionally disabled.

VSS's have problems, maybe yours let go with uncanny timing.

Put your original ECM back in and see if the speedo works again.
