Ok I have a little bit of a different problem. One of the rivnuts that the seat bolts thread into is spinning in the subframe. Is there any way to hold it or get it out of the subframe with the bolt in?
Any help would be appreciated.

Get a rivnut tool at Grainger and reset the rivnut
Is the bolt still in it ?

I have that sitting on my bench Danny. That's the problem, seat is on, bolt is in and rivnut spins in the frame.

long shot - mix up some JB weld (the regular stuff NOT the quick set stuff) do your best to place it around the riv nut and the frame only...don't get any on the bolt(maybe "mask" the bolt with tape or grease)- let it set up and try to remove the bolt

longer shot - drill a hole in the sub frame perpendicular to the riv-nut where you can wedge the riv nut with a pick/screw driver...and then try and remove the bolt

getting ugly - work the bolt back and forth to expand the sub frame's metal so you can pull the riv nut/bolt out( as one piece)...use a "well nut" to replace the riv nut
( it's a rubber bushing with a brass threaded insert) see here:
http://www.mcmaster.com/#well-nuts/=ig3ano

when you tighten the bolt it compresses the rubber to hold it in the hole
good luck

Sharpen a small screwdriver so you can tap it between the frame and rivnut's flange.
Tap it in and try to unscrew the bolt, add some penetrating oil up top to wick down the bolt into the rivnut.
If you can get to the rivnut's flange, try to peen it into the frame with a sharp punch is another way. Tough with the seat on tho...

If you have a junk car battery laying around, try connecting the neg to the frame and tap the positive to the rivnut(weld it to the frame).

bon chance, buena suerte, good luck
