Looking for suggestions as to what anyone has used when installing the EBR upper triple. I got it on tonight, went to install the Apex riser clip-ons I bought to go with it and the triple just fouls the post(s) enough to not allow them to be installed. Email already in to Apex for their suggestions as well. |

Any 54mm should be OK. I'm using Vortex. I think I have a set of clip-ons from EBR I'd see if you are interested. $100. |

The idea was to raise the bars somewhat (already have Al's bars) as well as pull them in towards the fork centerline. Really like the way it changed the feel on the Firebolt when I put the Heli bar triple on that accomplished that and wanted to replicate. Unfortunately, they don't make a version for the 1125 and discontinued the Firebolt version as well. Not that they're interchangeable. |

I don't recommend bars higher than stock for the 1125r. In fact, I would recommend *lower*, and that's what the EBR clip-ons do. I believe the EBR pars are what was planned for the B2... they fit perfectly and even bolt into the EBR triple-clamp for positioning. The problem with the stock set up on an 08/09 1125r is they promote the rider leaving their head up high instead of tucking in to the inside of the corner. Lower bars helped me tremendously with this, in fact almost instantly making a difference in lap times with no other changes. It seems ridiculous, I know, but the ergos of the 1125r stock really aren't very good for going fast. |

I had the same experience as Jdugger when I installed the Vortex Clip-ons. I also find it much more comfortable to ride. |
