Well I repacked the Barker with ceramic wool I pulled the screen packed in the blanket used aluminum to open up the center slid the screen in pulled out the aluminum popped it on and ran it much quiter but I don't think it will last it blows out tiny bits everytime I whack the throttle. I want to see if it will run cooler now though if it does I am gonna see what can be done to get it in a pillow form or screen wrap it.

Nice. When you put your Barker's on, was your bike otherwise stock? Did it make much of a difference in power, handling, etc? I want to replace my exhaust and thats the one i am thinking of. It apparently did better than the rest in the testing that Al at American Sportbike did. My bike is pretty much stock.

About ot repack mine as well ... the collector was stubborn and I couldn't get it separated from the header pipes ... and yes, the clamps were loose! Used a standard screwdriver and a hammer to try and "punch" the collector off from the edges. Got a 2x4 and a deadblow now, should make short work.

I ran the Barker with the stock ECM until one day out in the country the CEL went on.

The error codes and everyone here at BadWeb confirmed the stock ECM wasn't fueling enough for the Barker.

The EBR/K&N/Barker with quiet core setup is great! If I had the $$ the KEDA RT-4 would be my first choice.

I just installed a Barker on my 1125R along with the EBR ECM. A huge seat of the pants difference. I have the quite core in mine also.

I have been running the Barker with the EBR ECM for about 1 year now. Big difference in low RPM power and it also seems to produce less heat than when it was stock.
