Hey guys, pretty new to the Buell scene but am def happy I switched from Kawa's. I have an 08 1125R and just recently the engine light came on, did the mode/toggle press and got the P0693 code aka LT fan sys err which makes sense cause the fan doesnt turn on when the other does. After doing some research narrowed it down to a relay or a short, has anyone had this problem and can shed some light on how they went about fixin it? thanks!

the error code comes from the ECU...I would check the ECU connector and possibly re-seat the contacts or make sure they are installed and locked in before mating the two connectors....there's a lot of wires in that bundle - the connector is pretty "dense"
good luck

I had the same problem.

Hal's replaced the ECM and left fan under warranty.

Put 12v across the left fan connector, if the fan turns on, its probably the ECM, I would check the fan before I would mess with the ecm.
If you don't have a 12v supply, u can put 8 1.5 volt batteries in series (AA, AAA, or C should work)
