Hey guys, myself and some friends are looking for some kind of motorcycle weekend trip. We usually go to the parry sound sportbike rally but it is cancelled this year. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good alternative in southern Ontario or Michigan. Would really like to plan some kind of trip. Thanks |

Is at a Friday 13. I didn't even think to check. I've never been. Is it any good? Is there any organized things to do or does everyone just pile into the city. Thanks for suggestion! |

If you like being in a parade on a sportbike, go for it. Willie G. will be there this July 13. OK, then. It's packed, really packed. The town/village is shut down so only bikes get through. There's shuttles around town from the parking spaces. Any reservations had to be done years ago. People stay in London and ride out Friday morning. All the main roads are filled with parked bikes, some nice show machines. Rock concert by the beach. All sorts of stuff to boggle your mind. Doesn't work for me but I'm like that. Many of my friends enjoy it. Port Dover, on other times, is my favourite destination ride. The twisties around Staffordville, Richmond and Calton line are fantastic and usually empty. Road 45 (Calton Line) is a fun road to Port Dover. On the 13th, it's not so fun. There are so many two wheeled couches, and convoys of couches. They just get in your way, smile and wave. |
