I fried another VR and went to EBR website to look into their stator rebuild kit...IT'S GONE! No "out of stock" notice like some items have, it's just plain gone. Has it been discontinued? Not good.

Thats just the Rotor exchange with the oil hole that should have been there in the first place! (crank already has the passageway that lines up with this modification rumored to have been deleted for cost cutting reasons by our friends at HD. the stator will have to be obtained elsewhere or re-wound £1024 from the stealer's apx £124 for a re-wind

Yes, that's still there, but the pre-assembled stator and engine side case kit with the modified stator re-wire is gone. I think it was $200 more than a stock stator...$895 I believe.
