I need an IC and dont feel like driving to my local harley shop to put down a deposit. They dont take cc auth over the phone. Any suggestions for a hassle free internet purchase? free shipping would be nice on a 250.00 order

thanks, todd

American Sport Bike should be your first stop, as Al usually has all the commonly needed things in stock. He isn't a dealer, so he isn't likely to have something like a gauge cluster though.

I used to get parts from Tripp at Precision HD, they give a 10% discount for Badweb members. Tripp recently left, so I don't know what it is like to deal with them anymore, but he said to either email them parts@precisionhd.com, or call 401-724-0010.

Failing that I would try Latus like Daggar suggests. I personally haven't used them, but their site is great if you have part numbers handy. They offer a discount for ordering online, they are also Buell enthusiasts and a sponsor here.

The ability to search by part number is really nice. That's why I initially started shopping there. Their great customer service keeps me coming back. In fact, I just ordered an IC from them, about 10 minutes ago. :-)

It seems that americansportbike can get hd buell parts if you send an email.

Thanks- Latus looks like a good place to buy OEM. Easy, free shipping over 150.00, no tax if you are out of Oregon

Of course I tried American Sport Bike but I needed an instrument cluster and this is more of a headache for them to deal with than a money maker. I EXPECT Al and Joanne to keep me on the road for a long long time and ask them first whenever my bike needs something

Precision never emailed me back when I was buying parts recently. What I couldn't get from American Sport Bike, I ended up getting from Bumpus; they were quick and easy to deal with, and the price wasn't bad.
