try going UP HVR - Gravity will help slow you down if you get going too fast.
break the road up into (4) sections (going up from Pomerado & I-15):
1) the staircase
2) the orchard
3) the hollows
4) the ballet
there are many "blind" areas on the road - we usually lose (1) rider a year on it.
be careful if you decide to pass...
if you want to try some other roads here in MC Paradise go to this site and look at the map on their home page:
http://bmwocsd.org/
have fun...but be careful...try and ride with a "High Visual Horizon" especially on HVR

Thanks for the advice Ron. I normally try to ride up the hill instead of down because I feel more secure about braking. I just happened to be on my way home from Julian and thought I'd ride it. More often than not, I don't pass on tight roads like this. If a car pulls off and lets me around, I'll give them a wave like I did to the Toyota in the video.
Also, thanks for the website. I see a few new roads I'm gonna have to mosey down this summer.
