I have seen tank bags on 1125s mounted with straps. What do you mount the single strap after you remove the seat? On a tuber it ties to a tube but I can no see anything there on the 1125?

I used the 2 stand-off supports molded into the front of the seat and used a piece of steel rod pressed in behind these 2 stand-offs to loop and secure the single strap to , can get you pics later if you need to see ....

The Buell OEM tank bags mount to the two lower screws that hold the airbox cover on. The front straps mount to the front airbox screws.

Yup. 4-point mounting is the way to go with straps. Anything less and the bag moves around. I found that out the hard way while riding with a crosswind.

If the single strap is one long strap, there is a crossbar in the subframe where the seat tab fits into that can provide a place for the strap to wind around and loop back to the clip that attaches to the tank bag.

I put the strap through a strap attached at both ends to the screws that hold the tank cover. Worked great. Thanks for your help.
