Hi everyone,
When I blip my throttle, it seems like not much happens in the first 1/4 turn. Makes pulling out nerve racking...
Anyone else see this?
I lubed all I could see, took the air box out and hit those cables, and the ones at the handle bars?? I think I lubed them good I guess?
Still seems sticky...
Any ideas?

Thanks!!!

I believe the free play should be 1/8"

Did this throttle issue occur after you worked on the headlight assembly?

Nothing to do with the throttle sticking but if nothing is happening in the first 1/4 turn, I'd suggest you check the TPS reading, and do a TPS reset

breather hose from engine to air box - try pulling it up into the air cleaner "box" - sometimes the hose will "rub" the linkage that connects the two throttle bodies and make it "sloooooow" to return - the hose is on the opposite side (twist grip side)of the throttle bodies sticking up into the "air cleaner base plate". With the engine off....leave the air cleaner off and try the twist grip after pulling up on the hose...any better?....good luck

Don't pull it to far up, or kink it, or you'll get a very high pitched squeal/whistle, took me a while to figure that one out. I thought my water pump was going.
