i got a motor from EBR and the clutch cover doesn't have a hole inside the dipstick for the banjo bolt to install the clutch vent tube.

vent tube

old cover

new cover

i'm not really sure if i should re-use an '08 clutch cover (with the weeping water pump) or if i should plug the vent tube at the head and run with out it.

Plug the barb fitting at the head. (Top end of oil line connection). Ditch exterior oil line. Good to go.

come to find out; It’s a just a vent to aid oil fill. they eliminated it in ’09, as it didn’t really do much.

i'm guessing it was revised in 09 and didn't fall into effect until the '10 models
