I found this near the front clutch side of my 1125cr. What is it?

What is this thing?

On the bike or on the floor ?

Looks rather big to be a part from the bike ...

... but I may be wrong !

Oh, and it's a C clip by the way.

Is that inches, mm? Looks like the C-clip that holds on your foot pegs, unless that's inches.

I think the kick stand has a C-clip as well

Even in millimeters that's pretty big for a bike - it's over 1 inch.

It was on the floor and the scale is mm.

I'll check my footpegs and kickstand to see if anything is obviously wrong.

I'm hoping it's just some kind of garage crud.

I have an R, but looking through all my parts manual, it looks like there are only e-clips on the kickstand and pegs. There is on in the piston set for the master cylinders for brake and clutch, but if that found a way out, you have bigger problems.

From the looks of everything on your bike, and the condition that e-ring you found, i dont think it would be from your bike.

In my garage they are called Jesus clips.

Because that's the sound I make when they go shooting across the shop.

I looked through the parts manual, too.

I think the one that's in the "cylinder kit" must be much smaller than that. It looks awfully big for the kick or pegs.

Going out the garage now.

Looks like the clip on the axle tool that comes with the tool kits, have had mine pop off before.

Mack, it looks like you've figured it out.

That clip must have been on the garage floor since April, 2011.

Thanks, all !
