Anyone have a stator rewound recently?Got an 1125 at shop that needs a new one(another!) and want to send it out. Need recommendations.

The 09-10 rotor has been modified by EBR sprays oil on stator...

Gary at Custom Rewind did mine last fall. So far only 300 miles on it but it seams fine. I am not sure exactly what procedure he used. Gary has speech problem and I have hearing loss so we had trouble communicating. He asks that you call in the afternoon since his problem lessens as the day goes on.

I talked to him on his cell phone, the number I have for him is 205-798-7282. He was experimenting with a different wire size and wrap number when he did mine. I had my hip replaced in November which is why the mileage is so low.
