On my 2008 1125R, the gauge cluster is showing RPM incorrectly and bouncing around and the mileage is showing incorrectly. Anybody have an idea what may be causing this. | ||

original cluster? if so probably bad software if not i would start tracing connections. | ||

I had same problem, HD replaced it under warranty with a 09 IC. zero problems after that. | ||

My '08 had the same thing with the tach, first time they tried to fix it they said it was just a bad connection. After they 'fixed' it i showed them when i started it that the RPM was is wrong. I knew they needle had slipped and it was common on the '08 clusters, so they took it back and replaced the cluster. Glad i have a warranty on her that is good for a few more years, i have a feeling this coming riding season she is going to have a few more minor problems. Mechanically she has been perfect since day one (other than snapped belt, but my fault for letting someone else change the tires on her). |
