On my 2008 1125R, the gauge cluster is showing RPM incorrectly and bouncing around and the mileage is showing incorrectly. Anybody have an idea what may be causing this.

original cluster? if so probably bad software if not i would start tracing connections.

I had same problem, HD replaced it under warranty with a 09 IC. zero problems after that.

My '08 had the same thing with the tach, first time they tried to fix it they said it was just a bad connection. After they 'fixed' it i showed them when i started it that the RPM was is wrong. I knew they needle had slipped and it was common on the '08 clusters, so they took it back and replaced the cluster. Glad i have a warranty on her that is good for a few more years, i have a feeling this coming riding season she is going to have a few more minor problems. Mechanically she has been perfect since day one (other than snapped belt, but my fault for letting someone else change the tires on her).
