Good afternoon Gentlemen! I bought a 2009 1125r about a year and a half ago. The clutch puck was scraped through but didn't leak. I planned on replacing it when it finally went bad and here I am she's toast! I would need a puck and slave cylinder I'm assuming. My question is whats going to be more cost effective the ebr slave and a puck from Al or the can I buy the Oberon and run it without a puck??? Any opinions are appreciated thanks guys. | ||

I can only comment on the Oberon slave as I've had one fitted for some time now. It works and the clutch pull is now a one finger affair, even with short levers. You'll need a puck with that too, and the one Oberon gave me is beautifully made - and available in different colours (if that's important to you). | ||

I also think the fact that with the oberon that one of the seals is on the piston and the other smaller one is in the sleeve is a far better idea than both seals being on the piston. This allows proper hydraulic seals to be used with each being pressurised in the correct direction as the two parts are pushed apart. | ||

Yea it is the EBR Froggy, The cup is steel the piston aluminum and the cup is much thicker than the stocker, it appears I will check it though.You still need your old spring and circlip though. | ||

Having the EBR unit installed Saturday, should be much improved, will find out on Sunday's ride. |
