Recently received the factory set of clubman w/lines and cables, previous owner installed the upright type bars w/lines and cables. Curious to try the clubmans, would the lines and cables need R&R'd or would that be required only if I were going from clubman to upright bar set.

Upright bars are higher, so the cables for them are longer.
If you leave the cables they will be long for the clubmans, but they should still work.

You can mount the clubmans on a CR with high bars, but you need to re-orient the cluster and brake lines, and accommodate the throttle lines inside the headlight.

I'll give it a whirl, thought it may only be critical if going from clubman to upright, with the clubman lines/cables being too short. The current configuration would be a + for a swap back to upright for a long ride.
thanx

Took some time, had to shift the lines at the brake and clutch reservoirs. It's a bit tricky to put pressure on a lever while loosening a res bolt with a wrench and slightly rotating the line...then tighten and release lever. Only pushed out a drop or two. Throttle cable is a little sticky. What a difference in handling and body position. It's definitely gonna take a little time to get use to it. Less authority at low speed(going through the neighborhood)than the uprights and the lean makes you feel obligated to respond to it's command, not really liking that(hopefully I adjust and regain command). At speed it feels great, you're down in it and the feeling of holding on for your life that the uprights give has gone away. The upright definitely a plus for a long/touring trip, but the clubman will definitely remain installed for now.

The throttle cable is a pita. But other that that it only takes me about 15-20 min tops to swap from the high bars to the clubman bars.

Hopefully this will be true, the hard fittings on the lines were angled inboard and contacting the fairing. Had to rotate them to near vertical, can't see why this will be a problem for any future swap back to uprights.
