I've had a black front fender on order from my local shop for quite awhile and it's back-ordered. Anyone got a new one in stock?

Good idea, the weird thing is though that in the parts book they only show one part number for the front fender (M1662.02A8MW) but don't specify the color. On the other body parts there is a different part number for each color (white-red-black).

The last two letters of all bodywork is just the color code, the rest of the part number is the same. MW is black, BX is hero blue, AL is yellow, AW is white, BB is battle blue, BK is red, and there are a few others.

I don't have a dealer computer, otherwise I'd look up availability for you.

Are you just switching from red to black plastics?

Thanks, now if anyone has one...and yes, switching from red to black after two years of trying to be a red guy for a change. The black just looks too good.

Is it the same part that the Lightnings use? I've got a black front fender from an XB9 that I could easily part with cheap.

http://www.buellxb.com/Buells-for-Sale/Buell-Parts -for-Sale/Will-a-1125R-front-fender-fit-a-XB12R claims they fit.

http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/webshop/artikel.asp? guid=YXHFSC&aid=2928&cid=316&s=&a=&aname=Buell_Fro nt_fender_Artic_White__XB__1125 - the fender is the same for both XBs & 1125s.

http://badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290431/ 519849.html?1260302492 claims they're compatible as well.

And, if you'd like, when I get home, I can check - I've got an XB9 & an 1125 in the garage.

Conveniently, I'm in the middle of selling off parts to reduce clutter before moving!

I'll ping you tonight when I get home.

Yes, every XB and 1125 except for the XB12X/XP/STT uses the same fender. The part number even has the 03 Firebolt model code in it : )

Duphuckincati - PM sent regarding the fender. I found it, it's in great shape, and I'd be happy to ship it your way!
