After having my fuel pump replaced, my bike continues to beep after start up. It is the same high pitched sounds that occurs when you turn on the ignition and the fuel pump cycles. It isn't a pulsing beep, but a sustained sound. Has anyone else encountered this, or found a solution?

ear plugs should make the noise go away. ...

but seriously, it might just be the fuel pump. does it change with hotter/colder temps? empty/full frame of gas?

you can try using a mechanic's stethoscope or a long screwdriver pressed against your ear to locate/pinpoint the noise.

can you post a video of it so we can help more?

It is the SAME beep that occurs when the the ignition is switched on. It isn't going to come across on a video.

It occurs under all conditions.

Most likely you are hearing the fuel pump.
It's a LOT quieter than the XB pump, but if you are sensitive to that frequency, it can be very annoying.

Get a Drummer or one of Dean's mufflers and you won't hear it anymore.

If the fuel pump ain't making noise, it ain't working.

I have an XB with a stock exhaust and it doesn't make this sound. After 30,000 miles on 1125Rs I am certain that this is a new noise that began after the latest fuel pump was installed.

I used to have an 03 XB9R and it's pump was as loud as the fan.
The 1125 pump runs faster and has a much higher pitch.
A lot of people can't hear that frequency.

If you have the noise and the new fuel pump at the same time...
