I'm going to go with the CE605 regulator. If anyone has a fried stock regulator they are willing to part with for a reasonable sum, I could use the connector from it. I'd prefer that over cutting up mine, which is still perfectly functional. PM me, please.

Here is the right one:

You need DTP04-4P.
I'm trying to make a cable, which will connect the stator with a stock connector on Compufire 55402 regulator. Waiting for a crimp tool to arrive.

Yugi, if you don't mind make an extra, I'll gladly pay you.

I will need to buy extra connectors for you.
Do you have connector for 55402? It usually comes with the regulator (the stator part). I have the pins for it. But I don't have an extra Deutsch connector and a pins for it.

Yea I don't have anything, even the Compufire. An adapter to make it plug and play like that would make me consider replacing the VR as a preventive measure instead of dealing with it in the event it ever blows up.

If anyone has a dead regulator, and you plan on scavenging the connector off of it, please don't throw the rest away! i'd like to get hold of the leftover boxed part from a failed vreg to do forensic analysis.

thanks.

When you connect a new regulator, bypass the old connector (DC out) and connect directly to the battery. This is the recommendation from the guy who sells CE605 (roadster cycle).
